Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPC/S) in South Carolina with almost two decades of experience helping individuals and families work through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and major life transitions. My professional background spans community mental health, medical settings, and private practice, and I also serve as a clinical supervisor and nonprofit ministry leader.

I hold a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a certificate in Pastoral Counseling, which allows me to integrate evidence-based practice with faith-based principles when desired. I also lead a nonprofit ministry focused on strengthening families and building resilient communities — work that reflects my deep commitment to helping people discover purpose, healing, and wholeness.

My counseling style is compassionate, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I believe every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth. Together, we’ll explore the patterns shaping your life and develop practical strategies for meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, solution-oriented, and empowering. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify how your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors are interconnected — and how shifting them can lead to meaningful transformation. I also integrate solution-focused strategies, strength-based interventions, and, when appropriate, faith-based principles rooted in my pastoral counseling training.

I strive to meet you where you are while challenging you to think differently and move forward. Therapy with me is active and intentional: we’ll work collaboratively to clarify your goals, build practical coping tools, and focus on real progress. It’s not just about coping — it’s about growth, purpose, and creating a life that aligns with who you were created to be.

What you can expect from me

From the very first session, you can expect a space that is safe, supportive, and focused on change. I want to understand your story — your history matters — but I also believe you came to therapy because you want something to be different. Our work will reflect that.

You’ll leave our session feeling empowered, motivated, and equipped with practical next steps. I will listen deeply, but I will also challenge your thoughts, perspectives, and patterns in ways that spark growth and movement. Together, we will focus on solutions, set clear goals, and create a plan to help you move forward. Change is possible — and my role is to help you build the mindset, tools, and momentum to make it happen.
