Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University. I am dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care.

As a woman, I also understand how anxiety, trauma, and life stressors can impact daily life and contribute to feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and I bring that awareness and empathy into my clinical work.

I specialize in helping women who feel stuck in life due to anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is collaborative and individualized. I believe that each person’s journey is unique, and I work closely with clients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and needs. I prioritize open communication, patient education, and empowering clients to make informed decisions about their care.

Whether you are facing a difficult life transition, struggling with symptoms that are affecting your daily life, or seeking support for your overall emotional well-being, I am committed to helping you build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve meaningful progress toward your mental health goals.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we take time to understand what has been bringing you in and what is making you feel stuck in your life. Many of the women I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or difficult life transitions, and our first meeting focuses on understanding your unique experience.

We will explore your current symptoms, personal history, and the ways these challenges are impacting your daily life, relationships, and sense of well-being. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and what you would like to feel different moving forward.

By the end of the session, we will start developing a personalized treatment plan that may include coping strategies, therapy recommendations, and medication options if appropriate. My goal is for you to leave the first visit feeling heard, supported, and with a clear sense of direction for your care moving forward.
