Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Dr. V, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with doctoral training and over 20 years of psychiatric mental health experience. I’m here to support you through whatever you’re facing, whether that’s anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or postpartum challenges. With experience in both inpatient and outpatient care, I’m comfortable supporting clients across a wide range of needs from more intense or overwhelming periods to ongoing growth, stability, and emotional wellness. Whether you’re navigating something new or something you’ve been carrying for a long time, we’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, balanced, and in control.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and centered on helping you feel supported and empowered in your care. I understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, so I focus on creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and genuinely understood from the very beginning. I take the time to get to know you as a whole person so we can find a path forward that fits your needs and goals. I combine psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive therapy, and healthy lifestyle strategies to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, respected, and understood. My goal is to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship, learn more about your concerns and experiences, and understand what you hope to gain from treatment. During this time, I will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your current symptoms and review your past medical and psychiatric history. Together, we will start identifying a path forward that supports healing, clarity, and emotional wellness.
