Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) with more than 20 years of experience in social work and behavioral health. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adults, and families, with a particular focus on individual and group therapy with adults. Most recently, my clinical work has centered on supporting Veterans experiencing PTSD and trauma-related concerns. I also have extensive experience helping individuals navigate parenting challenges, major life transitions, relationship and family concerns, stress, anxiety, depression, and other experiences that can impact emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, supportive, solution-focused, and strength-based. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative and empowering experience where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. I work with clients to identify their strengths, develop practical strategies, work through challenges, and create meaningful and sustainable change. I bring an open-minded and encouraging perspective to therapy and meet each person where they are, recognizing that there is no single approach that works for everyone. My goal is to help you gain greater insight, build confidence, strengthen your coping skills, and feel empowered to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the concerns or challenges you are currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from counseling. I will also learn more about your background, strengths, relationships, and the experiences that may be influencing your current situation. You can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can share at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and discussing practical ways therapy can support you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, encouraged, and hopeful about the possibility of positive change.
