Great to meet you!

You may be doing your best to keep everything together while anxiety, depression, or stress quietly takes more out of you than the people around you realize. Perhaps your mind rarely slows down, family responsibilities feel overwhelming, or you are struggling to navigate relationships and life changes while trying to make space for your own needs. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors experiencing anxiety, depression, stress management, grief or loss, and PTSD. These concerns can also overlap with family issues, relationship difficulties, women's issues, bipolar disorder, or trauma, especially when emotional struggles, past experiences, and everyday responsibilities begin affecting one another. With 4 years of experience, I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we can explore what has been weighing on you, build healthier ways of coping, and help you move toward greater emotional balance, confidence, and connection.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are and the relationships, responsibilities, losses, and experiences that have shaped you. We'll explore how anxiety, depression, stress management, grief or loss, and PTSD may be affecting your emotional wellbeing, sense of self, and ability to navigate everyday life. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress and develop healthier ways of responding, Dialectical Behavior Therapy to build practical skills for regulating emotions and managing difficult moments, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you navigate painful thoughts and feelings while staying connected to your values. I may also draw from Motivational Interviewing to help you explore change without pressure, while Family Systems approaches can help us better understand how family relationships and communication patterns influence what you are experiencing. Our sessions will be collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in your individual needs, balancing deeper understanding with practical strategies that support meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what needs to change or how to explain everything you have been carrying. During our first few sessions, we will take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we will create goals that feel meaningful and realistic while deciding where it makes the most sense to begin. You can expect me to bring warmth, empathy, and thoughtful guidance to our conversations while creating a space where you can speak openly about difficult emotions, relationships, grief, or painful experiences without judgment. Progress may look like feeling less consumed by anxiety, reconnecting with yourself when depression feels heavy, managing everyday stress with greater confidence, finding ways to carry grief without feeling defined by it, or feeling safer and less controlled by experiences from your past. We will continue checking in on your goals and adjusting our work based on what feels most helpful, helping you move forward feeling more grounded, supported, and confident in yourself.
