Great to meet you!

You have probably gotten very good at holding everything together, even when anxiety, stress, or burnout are running underneath the surface. I work with busy, capable adults, including people in healthcare and those from Hispanic and close knit, family centered cultures, who are navigating anxiety, stress, major life or career changes, relationship struggles, or a wish to understand themselves more deeply. I speak both English and Spanish, so we can work in whichever language feels most natural to you. Many of my clients tell me they finally feel like someone understands not just what they are going through, but the cultural context they are carrying it in.

My approach to therapy

In our work together we focus on building real, practical skills for what you are facing right now, anxiety in particular, while also gaining insight into the patterns underneath it. We move at a pace that feels respectful and sustainable, never forcing a one size fits all plan onto your life. I do not believe there is a single right way to do this work, so together we shape an approach around your goals, your culture, and what actually fits you. Clients who do well with me tend to be thoughtful, motivated adults who want both concrete tools and a deeper understanding of themselves, not just one or the other.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other, with no pressure to have everything figured out ahead of time. I will ask what brought you in, what has been happening in your life, and what you hope might change, and you will get a real sense of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit. By the end of that first conversation, my hope is that you feel heard, a little more clear about the road ahead, and comfortable enough to keep going. If any of this sounds like you, I would love to hear from you.
