Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been working in the mental health field for about 15 years now. My specialty is developing a unique relationship with my clients to un-do aloneness when life feels most overwhelming, isolating, and hopeless. I do this by ensuring you have a say in the direction of your therapeutic work.

My approach to therapy

I construct a therapeutic experience unique to each client by incorporating my knowledge of evidence-based practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), as well as eye-movement, desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorders, gender dysphoria, grief, and post-traumatic stress. I tend to work particularly well with adults 18 and up. I introduce various coping skills, mindfulness options, and grounding techniques that support process work and change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect me to go over legalities and formalities of counseling because I value transparency and I want you to be informed of your rights as a client. Otherwise, I take direction from my clients. My role is to be curious about what brings you to therapy, what you want from therapy, and to collaborate with you.
