Great to meet you!

My name is Valerie, and I’m a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with two years of experience as an inpatient psychiatric consult-liaison. Prior to specializing in psychiatry, I spent eight years as a registered nurse working across a variety of settings—including the emergency room, medical-surgical units, pediatrics, and inpatient psychiatric unit. Through these diverse experiences, I discovered my true passion for mental health and have since dedicated myself to supporting individuals on their path to emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where you feel truly heard and empowered. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), combined with a supportive, solution-focused mindset to help you navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, or just feeling stuck, we’ll work together to uncover patterns, identify strengths, and develop practical tools that support your goals. Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate—I'm here to walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your inner clarity and confidence.

Healing is possible, and growth is within reach. Let's start the journey.
