Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 40 years of experience in the social work profession. I received my MA from Montclair University and my MSW from the University of Illinois, specializing in mental health. I work with individuals, helping them navigate the various stages of life—including stress, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and adapting to transitions and change (including the challenges of aging).

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a way for people to increase their understanding of themselves and the people in their lives. I facilitate sessions using cognitive behavioral techniques, coping skills, and boundary development, all within a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment—even when working remotely. When desired, I can incorporate a spiritual component with faith-based conversations and interventions. I work with each client to identify their own goals for treatment, with the overarching aim of enhanced personal peace, internal serenity, and greater joy.

What you can expect from me

My desire is to provide a place of calm and peace in an ever-changing world. With years of experience helping people overcome obstacles, concerns, and emotional turmoil, and recognizing the growing need for mental health clinicians, I've made time in my schedule to be available to new clients. My hope is that I can offer relief and support to those who need it.
