Great to meet you!

I believe that when we better understand ourselves, we become more capable of creating meaningful change in our lives and relationships. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 14 years of experience as an educator, I have spent my career helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate challenges, recognize their strengths, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves.

I work with clients experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, impulsive behaviors, self-esteem concerns, and relationship difficulties. Together, we will explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and the signals your body may be communicating. Through greater awareness and understanding, new possibilities often begin to emerge.

Whether you are navigating a difficult season, strengthening a relationship, supporting your child, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am committed to helping you gain clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of direction. Reaching out for support is often one of the most difficult steps, but it is also a reflection of strength, self-awareness, and hope. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward the life and relationships you want to create.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strength-based, and solution-focused, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices. I believe that many of the answers we seek already exist within us, but life experiences can sometimes make them difficult to access. My role is to help you identify patterns, build on your strengths, and translate insight into meaningful action.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to begin understanding your story. We will talk about what has brought you to counseling, the challenges you may be facing, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together.

My goal is to gain a deeper understanding of who you are, what matters most to you, and the experiences that have shaped your life. Throughout the process, we will explore patterns, identify goals, and begin developing a deeper understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

For children and adolescents, I understand that meeting with a counselor can feel unfamiliar or even intimidating. I take time to build trust and help young clients feel comfortable by meeting them where they are, respecting their pace, and creating an environment where they feel safe to express themselves. My goal is not to pressure children to talk, but to help them feel understood, supported, and confident enough to share their thoughts and experiences in a way that feels natural to them.

Most importantly, you can expect a conversation centered on understanding you or your child as a whole person. By the end of our first session, we will have a clearer picture of where you are, where you would like to be, and how we can work together to help you move toward your goals.
