Great to meet you!

Many people come to psychiatry after feeling frustrated by treatments that haven't worked or appointments that felt rushed. I became a psychiatric provider because I enjoy helping people understand their symptoms and find treatment approaches that genuinely fit their needs. Before becoming a PMHNP, I received a B.S. in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University and worked in psychiatric research focused on bipolar disorder and treatment-resistant depression. Today, I provide collaborative, individualized care to patients experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

My approach to therapy

I believe psychiatric care works best when it is collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized. My first priority is understanding the full picture, including your symptoms, history, goals, strengths, and the unique circumstances that make you who you are. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that fits your needs, whether that involves medication, psychotherapy techniques, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches. My goal is for every patient to feel heard, respected, informed, and actively involved in their care.

What you can expect from me

During our first appointment, I'll take the time to understand the full picture—not just your symptoms, but your experiences, strengths, goals, and the factors that may be affecting your mental health. We'll discuss what's been working, what hasn't, and what you'd like to accomplish through treatment. I encourage questions and believe patients should be active participants in decisions about their care. By the end of the session, we'll have a shared understanding of the challenges you're facing and a plan for addressing them.
