Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a wife, mother, daughter to some pretty special people. I enjoy numerous hobbies and outdoor activities during all seasons. I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from WTAMU, and a Master’s of Art in Professional Counseling from LeTourneau University.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Informed Care (TIC) and have much experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)/emotion regulation.

My approach to therapy

I am by nature a Person-Centered therapist and do not ever take control over any of your time. I am humbled to be a part of your journey and consider myself to be a passenger or co-pilot to getting you to the goals or life you want utilizing an eclectic blend of models of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out to start counseling can be a hard and down right intimidating. You are not alone!

I am happy that you have started this journey regardless of any obstacle you face. Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to learn more about you and start building an assessment of the things you need from me as a therapist and from our time collaborating together. I want us to feel compatible to collaborate ideas, feelings, and all past, present, and future situations together.
