Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor-supervisor. I earned my master's degree in counseling psychology from Texas Woman's University. I grew up in a military family which necessitated moving often. My life course has shifted a few times, providing me experiences which inform my work in counseling. As I am no stranger on how to contend with change, adversity, loss, relationships, and trauma, my focus is on helping you grow through your adversities, develop resilience, gain empowerment and heal.

My approach to therapy

I realize that it takes courage to seek support. You are the best expert on yourself. I am here to reflect for you and guide you through therapeutic options which will help you understand your experience and feel better. I incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, as well as other various approaches to help you reach your goals for counseling.

What you can expect from me

My passion is to help you see yourself through the lens of unconditional positive regard while instilling the ability to see how assuming personal responsibility for your perspectives contributes to the feeling of empowerment and self-actualization where your personal potential is fully realized. My desire is to help you develop an overall sense of well-being and gain the ability to utilize coping skills to navigate the ebb and flow of life.
