Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I know that seeking mental health care can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard. I believe the best care comes from building a genuine partnership and creating a treatment plan that fits your unique goals and lifestyle.

I have experience caring for adults facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. I also have a special interest in women's mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum mental health, hormonal life transitions, caregiver stress, and the emotional challenges that often accompany balancing work, family, and personal well-being. I frequently work with professionals experiencing burnout, workplace stress, compassion fatigue, and life transitions that impact both mental health and daily functioning.

My treatment approach is compassionate, practical, and evidence-based. I combine thoughtful medication management with supportive psychotherapy, education, and coping strategies to help you better understand your symptoms and build lasting resilience. My goal is not only to reduce symptoms but to help you regain confidence, improve your quality of life, and feel like yourself again.

Whether you're navigating a difficult season, adjusting to motherhood, struggling with work-related stress, or simply looking for support, I'm here to meet you where you are. Taking the first step can be difficult, but you don't have to do it alone.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care should be personalized, collaborative, and free of judgment. My first priority is getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, your strengths, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle.

My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive psychotherapy, education, and practical coping strategies. While medication can be an important part of treatment, I also focus on helping clients understand their symptoms, identify patterns, and build skills that promote long-term emotional wellness.

I have a special interest in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, women's mental health, pregnancy and postpartum mental health, workplace stress, burnout, life transitions, and substance use disorders. I enjoy helping individuals navigate challenging seasons of life, whether they're balancing careers and family responsibilities, adjusting to motherhood, recovering from trauma, or working toward lasting recovery.

I strive to create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions, actively participating in their care, and making informed decisions. My goal is to provide compassionate, high-quality care that helps you feel more confident, resilient, and empowered in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to treatment. We'll take time to discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle, and the goals you'd like to achieve. I want you to feel heard, supported, and comfortable sharing at your own pace.

Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, or additional resources based on your needs. I'll explain my recommendations, answer your questions, and make sure you feel informed and involved in every decision.

My goal is for you to leave your first appointment with a clearer understanding of your symptoms, a personalized plan for moving forward, and the confidence that you have a provider who will partner with you throughout your mental health journey.
