Valerie Werner

I have many years of counseling with individuals, couples, and families. I work to create a safe, welcoming space where healing, learning, growing can occur is essential for the therapeutic process. I believe the therapeutic process is a shared journey and in my counseling role I help support and guide the process.

My graduate work is in marriage & family counseling. My professional practice includes the abuse and neglect, sexual assault, domestic violence, divorce, couples/marriage counseling. I’ve worked with many people as they move toward a healthier, loving existence. My continued education is in the areas of the unconscious & dream world, conflict resolution & spirituality.

My work with couples is on building communication skills and emotional intimacy, healing childhood traumas, improving parenting skills, and recovery from traumas and loss.
