I help adults move from anxious autopilot to intentional living. If you’re managing anxiety or depression—with ADHD/OCD and attachment patterns in the mix—I offer warm, direct, evidence-based care. We’ll slow reactivity, understand what’s underneath, and build daily practices that restore calm, energy, and confidence. My approach blends CBT and ACT with mindfulness, nervous-system regulation, and ERP-informed tools for compulsive loops. Expect insight and practical skills you can use right away. I’m an LMHC (NY/FL) and LPCC (CA) with 10+ years’ experience. Sessions are virtual across NY, FL, and CA, with limited in-person availability in Huntington Station.
My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. We pace work by consent and stay within your window of tolerance. I tailor evidence-based care (CBT/ACT, mindfulness, ERP-informed, attachment) to your goals. Progress is defined by your lived changes—less distress, steadier mood, better relationships—and we adjust using brief check-ins. I’m culturally responsive and harm-reduction friendly, balancing insight with practical tools you can use between sessions.
We start informally: first session focused on your story and 2–3 clear goals. You’ll leave with a simple plan and one practice to try (e.g., a calming routine, thought strategy, or communication script). Each session blends insight with skills, and we check progress by your own markers—less reactivity, better sleep, fewer spirals, improved communication—plus quick check-ins when useful. Expect steady, realistic steps and a supportive pace.
