Great to meet you!

With 15 years in the field I have worked with all ages and all levels of functioning. This includes people struggling to make adjustments to major life changes or people designated as seriously mentally ill. My therapeutic approach is truly holistic meaning the mind and body are equally as important. I have discovered that a person can use physiological keys to unlock mental health opportunities for healing and growth. I am also trained yoga teacher as well as studying to be a health coach.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My years of experience has helped me to grow from classic CBT and developmental approaches to having advanced training in personality disorders and trauma. This includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Polyvagal Informed Trauma Assessments and Interventions. Most recently I became certified in Clinical Military Counseling to stay true to my roots and serve active military service members, veterans, family members, and first responders.

What you can expect from our first session

First off, I am person centered and solution focused and will work with you to clarify goals. I will help you identify personal strengths and natural resources. Then when needed we will process through what needs to be processed so that a path is cleared to envision a healthier more adaptive picture. Then I will work with you to build skills to apply to your Life Worth Living. My mantra is "Every person deserves to live the best life possible."
