I'm a board-certified Medical and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I first earned my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, but I pursued my dream career in nursing because of my passion and empathy for people who need care and support.
After practicing as a medical nurse practitioner in a large metropolitan Emergency Department for 13 years, I earned a Post-master’s Certificate in Family Psychiatry. I'm working at a busy outpatient mental health facility since 2021.
I have years of experience working in a psychiatric emergency department and detox treatment center, treating patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar disorder and ADHD. I'm easily approachable, compassionate, and a great listener, which are all important qualities when looking for a provider. I value patient care as an experience to learn from each other.
My goal is to provide unbiased, professional, and quality care for patients with various types of mental health disorders, which is possible through proper treatment compliance and regular follow-ups. I'm specially trained to diagnose and treat ADHD in adults. Patients who are a no-show or fail to cancel their appointments within 24 hours of their confirmed appointment will be charged a $50 fee.
