Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience providing mental and behavioral health services to individuals facing a wide range of life challenges. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and client-centered, recognizing the connection between mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being.

I have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, including first responders, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe healing occurs through a collaborative therapeutic relationship and tailor treatment to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and somatic and trauma-informed techniques. I also incorporate strengths-based and person-centered approaches to help clients develop practical coping skills, increase resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, burnout, or major life transitions, I provide a compassionate space where healing and growth are possible. My goal is to help you gain insight, build confidence, strengthen emotional well-being, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. There is no expectation to discuss everything during our first meeting—we will focus on what feels most important and manageable for you.

During our initial session, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss your personal history, identify your strengths, and clarify your goals for treatment. Together, we'll develop a plan that is tailored to your unique needs, values, and circumstances.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process. You can expect to be treated with compassion, respect, and genuine curiosity as we work together to build practical coping strategies, increase resilience, process difficult experiences when you're ready, and support meaningful, lasting change. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
