Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults in both school-based and clinical settings, and I understand how challenges can show up differently at each stage of life. I support clients with anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life transitions. I have a strong background in working with children and teens around peer relationships, behavior, and coping skills, as well as helping adults manage stress, set boundaries, and pursue personal growth. My goal is to offer a welcoming, supportive space where you feel comfortable, understood, and encouraged as you work toward your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I aim to create a safe space where you feel truly heard while also being gently challenged to make meaningful changes. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, build practical coping skills, and develop strategies you can use in your daily life. I tailor each session to you: with children, I incorporate creative and hands-on activities to support emotional expression and skill-building; with teens and adults, I focus on insight, communication, boundaries, and navigating relationships and life transitions.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming conversation where we take time to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been feeling hard, and what you’re hoping will be different. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background and goals, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for—you can move at your own pace. We’ll begin outlining what support might look like for you and, if it feels right, identify a few initial goals or small steps forward. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of what working together can offer.
