Great to meet you!

I'm Vanessa, a bilingual therapist supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, family origin issues, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming and warm space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client centered and rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Each therapeutic approach can offer a different lens to look through, you and I will explore what you are looking to gain from therapy and adjust as needed.

I work closely with individuals to understand their unique experiences and strengths, and together we develop strategies to address challenges.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to provide you with a safe space to process difficult things but also to empower you, so you can leave each session feeling a little more whole than the last. Within this space your needs come first and you get to choose what you want out of your treatment. The first couple meetings are establishing clear goals, getting comfortable with each other, and exploring how you are currently experiencing your life. We will develop a plan that feels realistic and doable for you. I strongly believe that a genuine connection is part of real healing - please expect my most authentic self showing up in our meetings
