Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with over seven years of experience helping women, mothers, and families find their footing after life throws them a curveball. My practice has a particular focus on maternal mental health — including postpartum depression, perinatal anxiety, and the identity shifts that come with motherhood — as well as ADHD in adults, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.I'm a Black therapist, and I understand what it means to walk into a room and wonder if someone will truly get where you're coming from. My approach is culturally aware, affirming, and rooted in the reality that we all carry different histories into the therapy room. I work with adults, teens, and families across all backgrounds. All of my sessions are telehealth, which means you get access to quality mental health care from wherever you are in Pennsylvania — no commute, no waiting rooms, just real support that fits into your real life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative — meaning we figure this out together. I don't hand you a workbook and send you home. Instead, I use evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you challenge thought patterns that keep you stuck, solution-focused techniques that build on what's already working, and trauma-informed care to help process past experiences at a pace that feels right for you.I also draw on mindfulness-based strategies for anxiety and depression, and I use family-centered approaches — including Bowen Family Systems — when the patterns feel bigger than just one person. For clients with ADHD, I tailor sessions around how your brain actually works, not how it's "supposed" to work.Above all, I lead with curiosity and warmth. Therapy with me is a conversation, not a performance.

What you can expect from me

Expect the first session to feel more like a real conversation than a formal intake. I want to understand what brought you here — not just the diagnosis or the crisis, but the full picture of what life has looked like lately and what you're hoping for. We'll talk about what's feeling hard, what you've already tried, and what you genuinely want to be different six months from now. I'll share a bit about how I work and answer any questions you have about the process. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of whether we're a good fit — and if we are, we'll start building a plan that's actually built for you.No homework, no pressure, no pretending everything's fine. Just a real start.
