Great to meet you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with past experiences, or finding it difficult to feel like yourself again, you don't have to navigate it alone. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Georgia, and I work primarily with adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I also offer therapy in Spanish, so you can express yourself in the language that feels most natural to you.

I understand that everyone's experiences are different, and healing doesn't look the same for everyone. My goal is to help you better understand what you're going through, work through painful experiences, and find ways to feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. Whether you're coping with the effects of trauma or feeling stuck in patterns of worry or sadness, we'll focus on your needs and the changes you want to make.

My approach to therapy

I take an individualized approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based methods to help you work through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we can explore how your thoughts and behaviors affect your emotions and practice healthier ways of responding to stress. Trauma-focused approaches can help you process difficult experiences, while mindfulness-based strategies can help you manage overwhelming emotions and feel more grounded in daily life.

My goal is to help you understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools that support lasting change. Whether we're working through painful past experiences, persistent worry, or depression, we'll tailor our work to your needs and goals. I also offer therapy in Spanish, so you can communicate in the language that feels most comfortable to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope will change. We'll discuss how anxiety, depression, or past experiences may be affecting your everyday life and begin identifying goals that matter to you. You don't need to know exactly where to start or feel ready to share everything at once. We'll move at a pace that feels manageable and discuss how we can approach therapy together. You can ask questions, share your preferences, and decide whether we're a good fit. You can also choose to meet in Spanish if that's more comfortable for you.
