Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Vanessa Wyche Graham, a holistic health professional with a unique, dual background as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered Nurse (RN). With a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision, a Master of Arts in Counseling, and a Master of Science in Nursing, I bring over three decades of experience providing holistic care across the lifespan in both military and civilian settings.

Throughout my career, I realized that the traditional healthcare system often forces people to separate their mental health from their physical health. I founded GrapeVine Innovations to change that. My practice serves individuals across a full spectrum of needs—from those navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, chronic stress, life transitions, and physical fatigue, to individuals seeking to achieve and maintain peak performance, both cognitively and physically. My work supports both restoration and optimization. I invite you into a deeply empathetic, non-judgmental space where you are treated as a whole person, whether you are seeking to heal, regain balance, or unlock your highest potential.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in an integrated philosophy of whole-person care. I believe your physical, neurological, emotional, and behavioral health are deeply interconnected. Simply put, my philosophy is: strong growth begins with strong roots. We will not just chase or manage isolated symptoms; instead, we will work together to uncover the root causes holding you back.

I use holistic counseling blended with evidence-based interventions, including Infra-Low Frequency (ILF) neurofeedback and functional wellness strategies. Clinically, I focus on identifying the functional bottleneck—the primary barrier to your well-being. Because emotional and cognitive regulation require a stable nervous system, I prioritize helping you achieve autonomic stability and improved stress tolerance first. From there, we cultivate resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and foster meaningful, sustainable change. Health is like a grapevine—when we strengthen the roots, everything above can flourish.

What you can expect from me

True restoration is not rushed, so you can expect an unhurried, comprehensive, and collaborative initial consultation that may take more than a single session.

Before we meet, you will complete an in-depth questionnaire so I can understand the broader context of your life. During our initial session, we will explore your full history, current challenges, and ultimate wellness goals. Because I look at the whole picture, I will not just ask about your mood—we will also discuss your sleep, stress levels, daily routines, and lifestyle patterns. You can expect a safe, compassionate environment where we connect the dots between how you feel, function, and thrive. By the end of our first visit, we will have identified meaningful patterns and begun collaborating on a highly personalized, root-cause strategy to help you move forward.
