Welcome to Johnson Counseling Services! I am Vanessa Johnson and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia since 2007. I have a BA in psychology from Clark Atlanta University (c/o 2002) and a MS in professional counseling from Georgia State University (c/o 2004). I have worked in a variety of therapeutic environments with children, adolescents, families, and adults.

My approach to therapy

I have a cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approach to therapy. I believe in looking at how our thoughts and beliefs correlate to our emotions and actions in order to seek change.
