Great to meet you!

My interest in mental health began early, when I first learned how much of a difference the right support can make in someone's life. That belief has stayed with me throughout my career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I've spent the past eight years helping people navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, and relationships. One of the things I value most about this work is seeing people recognize their own growth, build confidence, and make changes they once thought were out of reach. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and offer therapy in both English and Spanish. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, talking openly about your experiences, and working toward what matters most to you.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your own growth. I want to understand your experiences, the relationships that shape your life, and the patterns that may be contributing to what you're going through. Together, we'll explore what's working, what isn't, and what you would like to change. I draw from approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused techniques, tailoring our work to your needs and goals. Whether we're addressing difficult emotions, past experiences, or relationship challenges, my focus is on helping you gain insight, build practical skills, and make meaningful progress in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I'll want to hear about what you've been experiencing, what's important to you, and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. We'll talk about your concerns, explore any goals you may already have, and begin identifying where you'd like to focus. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet, and there's no expectation that you'll share your entire story right away. My hope is that our first conversation helps you feel comfortable asking questions, expressing yourself openly, and beginning to see what working together could look like.
