Great to meet you!

Life presents ups and downs. We all experience challenges some of which we are able to cope and manage without assistance; other times, we may need some support. I provide a listening ear, a sounding board and guidance.

My approach to therapy

My approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) coupled with spiritual & cultural outlook . As a licensed counselor, I have worked with adolescents, adults and couples. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I believe self-care is vital to one’s ability to approach this thing call “Life.” Together we will begin the journey to be at peace.

What you can expect from me

Clients walk away with insight and clearer understanding of their issues. Clients are able to explore the strategies to remedy concerns and become more self-aware. Before and after every session, I usually ask the client to the tell me one word that describes his/her feeling in the moment. This allows the client to do a self-check in and allows me to assess where we started and where we ended.
