Great to meet you!

I want to make every client understand the importance of mental wellbeing. I aim at helping individuals work through daily life while being aware of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and communication. I have worked for many years in the mental health field and have been able to hone my skills working with a diverse patient base to include: children (age 4-17), adults, geriatrics, couples, individuals and groups requiring crisis care, addiction, and military personnel and their families.

My approach to therapy

I have heard countless stories of personal stresses, problems, joys, woes, successes, feelings, and traumas. I love connecting with the individual from where they are at in life, then assessing their needs in therapy process, and eventually working together to form solutions. There is no one approach fits all in therapy. As a counselor, I take an eclectic/integrative approach to therapy. I use various forms to include: DBT, CBT, mindfulness, Gottman, psychodynamic, motivation, etc.

What you can expect from me

I want every client to feel heard and understood. I am passionate about mental health and the mental wellbeing of others. I provide treatment aimed at addressing mental health problems and relieving emotional distress. I can help individuals understand their feelings and behaviors, while learning coping techniques that can be utilized to achieve satisfying daily life. It is never to early or late in life to work towards sound mental health.
