Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Vanessa Morales, an LCSW and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with 8 years of clinical experience helping individuals heal from anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is warm and holistic, meaning we will work together to heal both your mind and your body. Traditional talk therapy is wonderful, but relational stress and trauma often live deeply within our physical nervous systems. Together, we will blend proven strategies like CBT with gentle somatic release and mindfulness tools to help you feel safe, grounded, and empowered in your daily life.

My approach to therapy

I practice therapy from a holistic, body-centered perspective. In our sessions, we look beyond just your thoughts to understand how stress, trauma, and attachment styles impact your entire nervous system. By combining evidence-based clinical practices like CBT with gentle somatic release and mindfulness, I help you actively soothe anxiety and break old emotional patterns. Together, we will build practical tools that ground your body, quiet your mind, and empower you to build healthier, more secure relationships.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about creating a safe, comfortable, and zero-judgment space where you can truly arrive as you are. Together, we will gently explore what brings you to therapy, look at your unique history, and map out your personal goals for healing. Instead of just reviewing a rigid checklist, we will establish a collaborative plan that honors both your mind and body. You will leave this first session with a clear roadmap of our work ahead and a simple, practical grounding tool you can start using immediately to soothe your nervous system.
