Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a strong nursing background in psychiatric and behavioral health care. I earned my advanced nursing education from Walden University, where I developed the clinical knowledge and skills to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.

My professional experience has allowed me to work with diverse adult and older-adult populations across psychiatric, behavioral health, and hospice care settings. I understand that mental health concerns can affect every aspect of a person’s life, and I strive to provide a supportive, respectful, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard and involved in their treatment.

My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, panic disorders, insomnia and sleep concerns, mood disorders, grief and bereavement, stress-related conditions, ADHD and medication management. My approach is collaborative and individualized, combining evidence-based psychiatric care with education and ongoing support.

My goal is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with each client and work together toward improved emotional well-being, stability, and quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient centered. I believe every client deserves to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their mental health treatment.

I take time to understand each client’s symptoms, concerns, medical history, lifestyle, and personal goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. My approach incorporates evidence based psychiatric care, medication management when appropriate, education, and supportive interventions.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns. Together, we work toward realistic goals that promote emotional stability, improved daily functioning, and a better quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you have the opportunity to share your concerns at your own pace. We will discuss your current symptoms, mental health and medical history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals.

Together, we will identify your needs and develop an individualized treatment plan. When appropriate, we may discuss medication options, including potential benefits, risks, and alternatives. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, informed, and confident about the next steps in your mental health care.
