Great to meet you!

Having been a therapist for over 20 years, I have both educational and life experiences that help me be the best therapist I can be. UCLA MSW 1999.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a client needs based approach. We work together to come up with a method that works for the client. Mostly, I’m willing to be flexible to be the best person to meet the client’s needs. Using empathy and active listening, I’m able to validate feelings and help process trauma, wounds and pain.

What you can expect from our first session

Therapy is a bit like a journey into the unknown. After each session, I’d love to have the client gain insight into their journey so that they know why they make the choices they do or what coping skills they can acquire to help the journey along. Some sessions are painful and some are joyful. But mostly, it’s about peeling back layers so we can be our authentic selves.
