Great to meet you!

If anxiety has you feeling wound up and on edge, or depression has quietly drained the color out of things that used to matter, therapy can be a place to set that weight down for a while. I work with adults who carry a lot, including people in demanding helping and service roles, veterans and the families who care for them, and anyone who's used to being the strong one for everybody else. I've spent years as a social worker walking alongside people through some of their hardest seasons, and I'd be glad to walk through yours with you.

My approach to therapy

My style is practical, collaborative, and built around your strengths. We'll focus on goals that genuinely matter to you and work on real tools you can use between sessions, whether that's untangling anxious thought patterns or finding your footing again after a hard stretch. I'll meet you right where you are and move at a pace that feels manageable. You're the expert on your own life. My job is to help you build on what's already there.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is low-key and mostly about getting to know each other. You'll tell me what's bringing you in and what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and I'll ask a few questions to understand your story. There's no pressure to have it all figured out, or to share more than you're ready to. By the end, we'll have a feel for how we'd work together and what those first steps could look like.
