Great to meet you!

You can know exactly where something comes from and still feel completely stuck in it. That's often where the real work begins. I work with adults and seniors navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, eating disorders, and the weight of holding multiple cultural worlds at once. I offer sessions in both English and Farsi. I was born in Tehran and came to the United States as a child. That journey shapes how I show up for clients who are holding two worlds at once. Clients often describe me as thoughtful, unhurried, and genuinely curious about who they are.

My approach to therapy

Our work moves at your pace, going deeper than surface level coping toward understanding the patterns that have quietly shaped how you feel, relate, and respond. When something keeps showing up in your relationships or your inner world, we work to understand where it comes from, so you can respond more freely rather than react out of old patterns. I'm drawn especially to clients navigating trauma, identity, and the quieter forms of anxiety and OCD that don't always have an obvious origin. This tends to work well for people who want more than symptom management and are ready to go beneath the surface.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll invite you to share what's been going on, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope might feel different. We'll move at whatever pace feels right, and I'll answer any questions you have about how I work. Sessions are currently available via telehealth. If something here resonates, I'd love to connect.
