Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Varissa Owens, MA, MS, LPC, NCC. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you can be honest, heard, and accepted without judgment. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as a Master’s degree in Human Services, and I have provided counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
My work focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, attachment patterns, and emotional challenges that can make it difficult to feel like yourself. I especially enjoy helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors so they can create meaningful and lasting change.
I recognize that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can show up as you are and work at a pace that feels comfortable while still making meaningful progress.
