Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Dr. Varsha Bhatnagar. I am a licensed clinical psychologist of Asian descent who believes everyone is capable of healing and deserves to live the quality of life they hope to attain. I have years of experience of providing trauma informed care and culturally inclusive care to parents, neurodiverse clients, young teens, and young adults navigating the ups and downs of life. I have a special interest in empowering women experiencing transitions; specifically I am passionate about working with women in the perinatal, postpartum stage, and those experiencing complex pregnancies.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I emphasize a compassionate, person-centered and strength- based approach to therapy that is tailored to the individual. Furthermore, this collaborative, evidence-based orientation fosters meaningful understanding as well as actionable steps that clients can effectively use to improve their mental health and well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

I specialize in creating a safe and empathetic space based in authenticity that allows you to make sense of the experiences, memories, and emotions that make up your inner world. In addition to observing patterns in your life and gaining emotional insight; I collaborate with you to build a set of coping skills that are realistic for you.
