Great to meet you!

I completed my bachelors in Psychology at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. I completed my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology online campus. I'm trained in CBT, DBT, and EMDR. I'm trained in providing individual and group therapy. I have several populations such as LGBTQIA+, gender and/or sexual identity issues, racial issues, substance use/addiction, and spiritual/religious counseling.

My approach to therapy

I believe in helping people develop tools that will aid them in living healthier lives not just for themselves, but for the people around them. I value having therapists who were direct and honest with me. I received questions that made me thinking and process many aspects of me and my life. This is the type of therapy I provide and find many of my clients appreciate this style. I provide a laugh here and there, and allow for us to build a strong foundation for trust and autonomy.

What you can expect from me

I don't claim to know everything, but what I do know, I know, and what I don't, I will research with you to help us learn. I've had my share of trials and tribulations and I value the help I've received healing journey. As I come along the ride with you through your life, I hope to help you process any traumatic events, and help you to be a much healthier YOU. I hope to help you see your life and goals much clearer and be with you as you achieve them. I look forward to helping you!
