Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and I have been practicing since 2010. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, and grief.

I have extensive training in trauma treatment and am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach for helping clients process and find relief from symptoms related to Post-Traumatic Stress and other overwhelming life experiences. My work focuses on helping clients move beyond survival mode and into a more grounded, empowered way of living.

I am also Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method, which allows me to support couples in building stronger emotional connection, improving communication, repairing trust, and developing practical tools to navigate conflict as it arises.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply client-centered. I believe healing happens in safe, attuned relationships — and therapy can be a space where you are fully seen, heard, and supported as you grow.

*contact me for availability. My availability is Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 8 am to 4pm. Tuesdays 8 am to 1pm. Wednesdays 8 am to 12pm.

My approach to therapy

At the core of my work is a person-centered approach. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood — without judgment or pressure. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique story.

While the relationship is the foundation, I integrate evidence-based modalities to support meaningful change. I am trauma-informed in all aspects of my work and am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. For couples, I incorporate Gottman Method principles to strengthen connection, improve communication, and navigate conflict in healthier ways. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and gently shift unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or relational distress.

My goal is not to “fix” you — but to walk alongside you as you deepen self-understanding, build resilience, and move toward the life and relationships you desire.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to slow down and begin getting to know each other. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

During this initial meeting, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life or relationships. I may ask questions about your history, current stressors, and support systems so I can better understand the full picture — but there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.

This session is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for me and how I work. Therapy is most effective when you feel safe and connected, so you are welcome to ask questions and notice how the space feels for you.

By the end of our first session, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps together, so you leave with clarity about where we’re headed and what our work might look like moving forward.
