Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Venessia Norvil, a board-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered in their mental health journey. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood challenges, and everyday life stressors, using a thoughtful, evidence-based approach tailored to each person’s unique needs. Dr. Norvil earned two master’s degrees in nursing from Western Governors University and Chamberlain College and later graduated with honors, receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Science, Arts, and Technology. She is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients can openly share and work toward meaningful, lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe, supportive space where they feel heard and respected. I use evidence-based practices while considering the whole person—emotional, physical, and social factors—to develop treatment plans that align with each client’s goals. I value open communication, shared decision-making, and empowering clients to take an active role in their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a relaxed, supportive, and judgment-free environment. We will take time to discuss your concerns, personal history, and what you hope to gain from treatment, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will answer any questions you may have and work with you to begin identifying goals and next steps. My priority is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and confident about your path forward.
