Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a Master's level licensed psychotherapist with almost 40 years of experience. I'm invested in your best outcomes, your emotional growth and success through this process. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, pulling in mindful awareness work for clarity and creative skill-set development. We'll gently explore your family of origin, your current sense of self and related topics. We'll build a therapeutic plan that fits for what you're looking for.

My approach to therapy

I'm excited for us to begin building our therapeutic alliance. I will always greet you with warmth, kindness and curiosity. I consider us an balanced team; you lead with your story and I guide us through our collaborative work. I use CBT tools, intentional awareness work, DBT skill building, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and lots of shared psycho-ed. Working from Family of Origin dynamics, we begin by exploring the sense of self you have developed through your life so far. Supporting you through our first conversations, we will share a safe and respectful environment in each contact.

What you can expect from me

I am offering virtual sessions for each contact. I want to surprise you with how emotionally connecting telehealth can feel. I will remain supportive, attentive to our discussion, and invested in your successful outcome. You'll find me honest, real and caring as our work pulls from evidence-based therapeutic approaches. In our first session we will talk about what you can expect at each contact. I will be asking a multitude of questions guided by the way you tell your story. I will follow your lead in this work and will teach, support and challenge you with kindness and clarity.
