I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor located in Alexandria, VA. Specializing in helping those who suffer from a variety of mental health concerns/disorders.

I earned a Master’s degree in Pastoral Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, and Certified I- Eating Disorder Treatment Clinician.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), teaching clients how to regulate their emotions and how to avoid negative self-talk. I offer faith-based counseling for those who seek to integrate their faith with their mental health treatment. I focus on eating disorders, child, adolescent, and family therapy. I am also an EMDR Trained Therapist.

Many of my clients struggle with anxiety and stress and often resort to unhealthy behaviors to cope with these emotions.

Clients have said that I am "gentle, a good listener, help them see more clearly, knowledgeable, and much more. I take an integrative person-centered approach. Over 14 years of experience and multiple certifications. Have worked in Palliative Care, hospice, intensive in home, schools, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, hospital, and private practice settings.
