As a licensed mental health counselor, I have experience working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. My background as a former Special Education Teacher allows me to connect effectively with children and adolescents as they face challenges related to home, school, and various behavioral and mental health issues. I am energetic, warm, and open-minded, providing my clients with a safe space to be authentic and transparent as we work together to navigate life's challenges.

I use a Client-Centered approach that emphasizes empathy, non-judgment, and active listening. My goal is to create a safe and accepting environment where you feel heard and understood.

Your goals will guide our process. I won’t dictate how you should live your life; instead, I will help you clarify what you want and support you in achieving those goals.

I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge cognitive distortions like catastrophizing or all-or-nothing thinking, and develop healthier thinking habits.

My clients can expect a personalized experience, where I tailor each session to meet their individual needs. Whether they are seeking clarity on a topic, creative inspiration, emotional support, or assistance with a project, I adapt my tone, depth, and approach accordingly. We set goals based on the client's desired outcomes and define what success looks like for them. I also provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves.
