Great to meet you!

Sometimes the weight you have been carrying has been there so long it just starts to feel normal. Whether you are working through anxiety, grief, depression, or the lasting effects of trauma, or you are a parent watching your child or teenager struggle and searching for someone who can really help, you deserve a therapist who takes the relationship seriously. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and after more than 20 years in this field, I still believe that nothing meaningful happens without trust. Clients often describe me as a genuine thought partner, someone who listens carefully and meets them where they are.

My approach to therapy

My work starts with understanding you, not just your symptoms. Before we settle into an approach, I ask questions about your personality, your history, and what you actually want out of therapy so that our work fits you rather than the other way around. For adults navigating grief, PTSD, or the kind of chronic stress that quietly wears you down over time, we focus on building momentum toward goals that feel real and achievable. For children and teens, I create a space where they can work through what they are carrying at their own pace. Across all of it, I see myself as a collaborator, not an authority, and that shapes everything about how we work together.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to slow down and get acquainted. I will ask about your background, what is bringing you in, and what you are hoping to get out of this process. We will also talk through what good progress looks like for you, so we have something real to work toward from the start. If any of this resonates, I would love to connect and see if we might be a good fit.
