Great to meet you!

I bring a unique blend of scientific rigor and compassionate care to everything I do. As an undergrad I studied Biochemistry with a focus in Pre-Med from the University of South Florida, where I cultivated a deep understanding of human biology and the sciences. Driven by a growing passion for mental wellness, I went on to receive my Master’s degree in Counseling from National Louis University, graduating with highest honors and maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Beyond my academic and professional endeavors, I am a proud mother of two, and find balance in SCUBA diving, gardening, and creating lasting memories with my family.

My approach to therapy

I provide a warm, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore difficult thoughts and emotions. My style is compassionate and patient, while also being solution-focused. I work alongside clients to help them better understand their experiences, develop effective coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.

I specialize in working with adolescents and individuals who are experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, anger, and life transitions. I have particular experience supporting teens who are struggling with emotional regulation, school avoidance, and the impact of traumatic events or loss. My approach is trauma-informed and tailored to each client’s needs.

What you can expect from me

I focus on building trust and helping clients develop practical tools to manage overwhelming emotions, improve communication, and strengthen resilience. I often integrate evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, EFT (tapping), mindfulness techniques, and somatic or body-based coping skills to support healing and growth.

My goal is to help clients feel understood, gain insight into their experiences, and develop the confidence and skills needed to navigate challenges both now and in the future.
