Great to meet you!

I’m Veronda Bellamy, a licensed mental health therapist with a passion for helping individuals to be happy beyond trauma . My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, integrity, and evidence-based practices, designed to empower you to create emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being that is authentic to you. Beyond my clinical practice, I’ve had the privilege of speaking at TEDx, where I explored the fascinating study of happiness and how we can cultivate lasting joy. I’ve also been featured as a subject matter expert in Essence Magazine, Real Simple, and numerous other media outlets. One of the most profound moments in my career was interviewing Dr. Maya Angelou during Women’s History Month, where she shared timeless wisdom on being a phenomenal woman in today’s society—a conversation that continues to shape my work and perspective.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my work, I draw on a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other modalities that allow me to tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs. These approaches help clients heal from past trauma, foster self-awareness, and build resilience.
