Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I've been in the social work field for over 17 years, working case management services but the last 10 years, my professional focus includes working with adults living with Substance Use Disorders and other co-occurring disorders such as anxiety and depression. Outside of work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I value balance, lifelong learning, and meaningful connections. I believe these experiences help me stay grounded and present in both my personal and professional life.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach, meaning I pull different ideas or perspectives that draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I believe in person centered care and start where you are to help you build insight but also challenge you to strengthen emotional regulations and develop healthier coping skills. My goal is to empower clients to foster resilience, meaningful growth, and emotional well being.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a big step in your mental health care. I'm glad you're here and willing to begin. In the first session, we'll use this as an opportunity to hear your story and what you hope to get out of therapy. I hope to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to develop a treatment plan to meet your goals.
