Great to meet you!

I began my career in Human Services in 2001 as a Teacher’s Aide and was soon promoted to Direct Support Professional (DSP) in a residential program serving adolescents and adults with developmental, physical, and mental health diagnoses including Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorders, IDD, ADHD, and Autism. After relocating to California, I continued my work across residential, educational, and substance use transitional programs for both adolescent and adult populations.

In 2007, I returned to New York and worked in residential programs for youth with emotional disturbances, bipolar disorder, conduct disorder, ODD, Autism, ADHD, IDD, and childhood schizophrenia. My experience includes service within multiple state-operated and private foster care programs across Upstate New York and the Bronx. I later joined a forensic residential program for adult males with 730 offenses as a Senior Counselor/Assistant House Manager, where I began my formal social work education.

I earned my BSW in 2017 and completed an internship at a PROS program, followed by work as a Home Health Aide supporting individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s. I later became a Case Manager for an OPWDD waiver program while completing my MSW in 2018 with an internship at an acute PROS program. I obtained my LMSW in July 2018 and my LCSW in September 2025.

Since licensure, I have served as a Forensic Evaluator/MATS Coordinator, PBIS Therapist, Stabilization Center Therapist, Psychiatric Evaluator at WMC, Substance Use Counselor, Telehealth Therapist, LMSW II at a NYS Psychiatric Treatment Center and secure detention facility, and Psychotherapist in private practice. Currently, I am the Assistant Director of Campus Clinical Services in Pleasantville, NY, supervising clinicians providing trauma-focused therapy, family therapy, crisis intervention, and risk assessments for youth in the foster care system.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is grounded in openness, authenticity, and respect for each individual’s unique experience. I approach each session with an open mind and a genuine curiosity about the client’s story, creating a space where all thoughts and emotions can be explored without judgment. My goal is to empower clients to recognize their own strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and take active steps toward growth and healing.

I strive to maintain a balance between being caring and supportive while also providing direct, honest feedback when it can promote insight and positive change. My approach is both calming and encouraging, helping clients feel safe, heard, and motivated to engage in their therapeutic journey. I integrate evidence-based interventions with a person-centered and trauma-informed perspective, tailoring treatment to meet the individual needs of each client.

Ultimately, I believe that meaningful progress happens through collaboration, transparency, and trust. My role is to guide, empower, and walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, discover resilience, and build the confidence to create the change they seek.I am trained in evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Crisis Intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), 7 Challenges and ITM.

What you can expect from me

Our first session focuses on creating a calm, supportive space where you can share your story at your own pace. I’ll explain how therapy works, review confidentiality, and explore your goals and concerns. My approach is open-minded, caring, and direct — offering both empathy and honest guidance. Together, we’ll begin building trust and clarity, setting the foundation for growth, healing, and positive change.
