Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Veronica Morris, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with 9 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master’s degree from Cleveland State University and my undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University.

My clinical background includes both inpatient and outpatient therapy, as well as extensive experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care. I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan, including late adolescents and emerging adults through the geriatric population, and I value meeting each client where they are in their journey.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship concerns, and pre- and post-partum mental health. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients feel safe, supported, and empowered as they work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered, with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. I believe that healing begins with feeling safe, heard, and understood, and I work intentionally to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can show up as they are.

I partner with clients to identify their goals and tailor treatment to their unique experiences, strengths, and needs. I recognize that no two people are the same, and I integrate evidence-based practices while remaining flexible and responsive to what feels most helpful for each individual. I place a strong emphasis on empowerment, helping clients build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and strengthen their confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and low-pressure environment. This session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship. We’ll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant background, and what you hope to gain from treatment.
