Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your concerns, gain insight, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, addiction, co-occurring disorders, and adjustment difficulties. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals.

I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based interventions to help clients build resilience, improve coping skills, and achieve lasting growth. I believe that healing begins with understanding, connection, and a willingness to take the first step toward change.

Whether you are seeking support for a specific challenge or looking to improve your overall well-being, I am committed to helping you identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. Reaching out for help can be difficult, but you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone.

I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, recovery, and personal growth. Contact me today to schedule a consultation and learn how therapy can support your goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and change when provided with the right support and tools. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you can openly discuss your concerns without fear of judgment.

I work from a strengths-based perspective, helping clients identify existing strengths while developing new skills to navigate life's challenges. Treatment is tailored to each individual's unique needs, goals, and experiences. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention strategies when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms but to empower you with the insight, confidence, and skills needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and collaboration. You can expect a relaxed, conversational approach focused on understanding your concerns and what has brought you to therapy.

During our initial session, we will discuss:

  • The challenges or concerns that led you to seek therapy
  • Your personal, family, and mental health history
  • Current symptoms, stressors, and life circumstances
  • Previous counseling experiences, if applicable
  • Your strengths, support systems, and coping strategies
  • Goals you would like to achieve through therapy

You are not expected to share everything during the first session. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of our meeting, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapy process, an opportunity to ask questions, and an initial plan for moving forward.
