Hello! I'm Veronica, a LCSW in Orlando, FL. I'm a UCF alumni and have been practicing since 2019. I've been working with individuals in early recovery from substance abuse for the last 6 years and through this I've had a lot of experience working with grief, trauma, as well as a multitude of mental health diagnoses. I primarily work with individuals, but am hopeful to open group therapy sessions shortly!
My approach is an empathetic, solution-focused one. I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and use it regularly, as well as CBT, DBT, and person-centered modalities. I'm here to support you through your emotions and experiences and help you learn skills to improve your life.
Clients can expect to take away a sense of relief, peace, or closure after a session using Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Clients can also anticipate leaving session with new skills to practice and ways to change unhelpful thought processes to improve day-to-day life.
