Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I bring over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families facing complex emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based, grounded in evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care. As a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking LCSW, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe healing and growth happen through authentic connection, practical support, and recognizing each person's unique strengths and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions. I work with clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping skills to manage life's challenges. I believe therapy is a partnership built on trust, respect, and authenticity, where clients can safely explore their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your current concerns, and reviewing relevant personal, family, and mental health history. I will also answer any questions you may have about the therapy process. Together, we will identify your goals and begin developing a plan that supports your needs and strengths. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and empowered as we begin our work together.
